During 2012 MacCarthy Aviation is celebrating 50 years in business and to commemorate this milestone we have a produced a fascinating and factual book or our history. Download a copy by clicking here.Founded in 1962 MacCarthy Aviation forged a reputation for excellence in commercial aircraft interior refurbishments; our expertise in refurbishment and overhaul came for the VIP interiors market where the quality of the work quickly turned into a reputation for beautiful interiors, especially in the Middle East and Asia.

During the 1980′s the company outgrew its original factory and moved to Redhill aerodrome’s Hanger 9 which, during the second world war was home to 458 squadron.

“MacCarthy-An Interior History” Looks back to the very start of the company, and its predominately VIP work, to the full fleet cabin work we do today on for flag carrying and other commercial airlines. Taking in the story of historic Hangar 9, where the company were based and some of our more amazing innovations, the book uncovers the full history of the company.

With landmark projects and a look towards the future in our brand new facility, “An Interior History” is a fitting tribute to the company’s achievements of the past 50 years; and with continued growth, it is a suitable beginning to the next 50 as well.
